Shipping Agency is looking for an experienced PORT AGENT [5 years minimum] to take care of day-to-day vessel requirements. The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of Agency Work and be expected to work under your own initiative yet to assist in the general running of a busy operation where possible. The successful applicant will be experienced in the following: Pre arrival arrangements with the relevant port authority Arranging vessel clearance and submitting applicable documentation Assisting in crew change as required Arranging On/Off Hire Surveys Assisting in the documentation of items for import / export.
